The city of Peoria is a major suburb of Phoenix. It is in the 

north of the State of Arizona. Most of the city is located in Maricopa 

County, while a small portion in the north is in Yavapai 

County. In 2017, the population of the city is 168,181.

Take a stroll at Osuna Park. Osuna Park is Peoria's oldest city park, dating to the early 1900s. It is named after Johnny E. Osuna, a former city councilmember serving from 1980-1987. The park features many amenities including a decorative walking path, architectural steel trellises with picnic areas and a grassy turf centerpiece.

The park features a public restroom building styled to look like a historic railroad station, which speaks to Peoria's history as a stop on the Santa Fe Railroad. Adjacent to the park is the Peoria Jail House (1939), currently maintained as a museum by the Peoria Arizona Historical Society.
